Hence the blog macrocosm is discussing about Google Panda Update 4.0 but what exactly is it? It is basically a filter that was design to prohibit the sites that are designed with inferior quality content. This was introduced in February 2011 and since then blogosphere is experiencing various versions of the same and recently the introduction of 4.0 version has again traced the sites which were able to escape earlier. It has been named Panda after the engineer’s name, Navneet Panda, the man behind this great invention.

Is Google Panda Update is related to Google Spam Algorithm 2.0 or Penguin?

The whole blogosphere is talking about the sudden rank changes and many other rectifications in various sites that have occurred recently. Though Google is refusing about any such introduction but the sign of changes are proving its presence. In no way they have any links with Google Spam Algorithm 2.0 or Penguin. Though Google had stopped talking about Panda Updates since 2013 but that had not prohibited algorithm tuning. Google Webspam’s head Matt Cutts had finally revealed about Panda 4.0 update. Via his twitter account he had revealed it a day before. It is also known as Farmer Update. Panda’s fourth generation had already come into rolling since a day before and it is being predicted it is going to have 7.5% by Searchengineland.com for search queries. The affect will be more over the contents that are in English language than other languages.

Ebay’s web traffic is highly affected with this recent update of Google Panda. This upgradation had actually knocked down ecommerce sites search traffic alarmingly.
